Privacy Policy
Manitas (com.guelug.manitas) is a sign-language learning app made by Pedro (guelug). Contact: guelug@gmail.com
We do not collect personal data. The app has no accounts or login, ads, analytics or tracking, and it does not connect to our own or third-party servers.
- Camera: used only to detect your hand position while you practise. Frames are processed on the device and are never stored or sent anywhere.
- Microphone: optional, for dictating text in the translator. It uses the system speech recognition service and asks for offline recognition when the device supports it. Otherwise your system’s speech service (for example, Google) may process the audio under its own policy. Manitas does not store the audio.
- Notifications: optional streak reminders.
- Progress and settings: stored only on your device. You can delete them by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it. If Android backup is turned on, the system may include them in your own Google backup.
- Children: the app collects no data from anyone, including children.
